Today being Sunday, the day of rest, I thought it’d be fitting to write up Birmingham’s Liamosino. Psych and 60’s hippie vibes absolutely drip from this track, I think it’ll be a definite hit with the counter-culture crowd.
Interesting side note, I read that Liamosino is ‘one of the only people to successfully pull off a full velvet suit’. This is no small thing, genuinely thought that’d be a complete impossibility but hey, this isn’t a fashion blog, that seems like a very impressive feat, what do I know.
ANyway, there is an amazing layered guitar backing on this track accompanied by hypnotic percussion and vocals that are saturated in reverb which leads the whole thing to be an absolute goldmine of chill out vibes. Think The Byrds and The Mamas and the Papas or, more recently, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
