This world that we live in has become strange and unpredictable. Chork has harnessed the idea that you can still be in love in this socially disconnected world, whether it is reciprocated or not.
A song about loss, about being apart, about love, it’s got it all here. It doesn’t dwell on unhappiness, infact it is surprisingly peppy for a tune about being alone.
This might sound a bit random but I was put in mind of Billy Bragg and James not directly through music comparison but there is a twinge here in the 90s vibe I get.
The whole song has a downplayed element in the guitars and vocals that works perfectly with the subject.
Listen, let me know what you think!
