I love these downplayed slightly unhinged dark songs. The lyrics are class, the guitars are so incessant and Gang of Four that it’s just genius.
There is something so relaxing in the matter of fact vocals that I honestly think nothing would suit this more.
Imagine a charming children’s song with incredibly dark meaning.
Check out Constantine Bimvoglio while you are here, it’s got a different feel entirely, vocals are showcased as well as a more excitable sort of Maximo Park feel.
